CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. shortening 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. slat 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 c. milk Cream together butter and shortening. Add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture. Bake in 10" tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Yield: 20 to 25 minutes. |
