PUMPKIN DESSERT | |
1 box yellow cake mix, reserving 1 c. for topping 1 stick butter 1 egg MIDDLE LAYER: 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin 4 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cloves TOPPING: 1 c. reserved cake mix 1 stick butter (cold) 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. white sugar 1/2 c. nuts Combine first layer ingredients. Spread mixture in 9x13 pan. Mix middle layer and pour over first layer. Mix topping until crumbly; sprinkle crumbs over pumpkin filling. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. Good with whipped topping. |
