STRAWBERRY JELLO CAKE | |
1 pkg. white cake mix 3 tbsp. flour 4 eggs 1/2 c. water 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello 1 c. cooking oil 2 c. fresh strawberries, divided and chopped Mix all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. By hand, beat eggs together with cooking oil and water until thoroughly mixed. Blend into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Stir in 1 cup of the strawberries and juice mixture and mix until well blended. Prepare 2 (8-inch) square baking dishes with waxed paper and grease. Pour batter in pans. Cook each layer separately for 5-6 minutes on FULL powder in microwave, rotating 1/4 turn after 3 minutes. Allow each layer to cool in pan on wire rack for 8-10 minutes, then turn onto plates. Ice. ICING: 1 stick butter 1 box confectioners sugar 1 c. strawberries, drained Cream butter. Gradually add confectioners sugar and cream. Add strawberries and mix thoroughly. Ice cake. Refrigerate to allow icing to set. |
