1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 tsp. flour

Mix together. Put fruit in Pyrex dish and cut strips of loaf bread and put over fruit. Then pour mixture over the fruit. Bake in 400 degree oven until bread is good and brown.
