STIR - FRIED BEEF & VEGETABLES 
1 lb. sirloin beef, sliced thin
1 sm. bunch of broccoli
1 med. onion
1 c. sliced carrots
1 can beef broth (or 2 c. bouillon)
1/2 c. water, mixed with 3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. oil

Slice beef and marinate it in: 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. cooking wine 4 chopped scallions 1 tsp. ginger powder (or fresh) Dash of pepper

While beef is being marinated, prepare vegetables. Heat oil. Add carrots, broccoli, then onion. Stir for 2 minutes. Push vegetables aside. Add marinated beef slices and stir for 2 minutes. Pour beef broth over meat; add cornstarch-water mixture and stir slowly until thickened. Serve over hot rice.

NOTE: Also good if you substitute snow peas for broccoli and carrots.
