QUICK CHERRY DESSERT 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 (21 oz.) can cherry or blueberry pie filling
Powdered sugar to dust over top (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat until fluffy. Add almond extract. Stir in the flour and baking powder until smooth. Butter a 13 x 9-inch pan. Spoon in pie filling.

Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes or until golden. Dust with powdered sugar.
