BETTY'S SQUASH CASSEROLE 
6 med. squash
1 lg. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
4 c. cornbread crumbs
1 c. grated cheese

Cook squash and onions; drain. Add all other ingredients except cheese. Butter casserole dish, line with cornbread crumbs. Pour squash into dish. Bake at 350 degrees until browned, 30 to 45 minutes. Add cheese, bake until melted.
