1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
Finely ground nuts

Cream butter, sugar, egg yolks. Add flour and vanilla. Form into small balls. Dip into egg whites, then in ground nuts. Press thimble in center. Bake 10 minutes. Drop jam in center of cookie while still warm.
