HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. hamburger
2 cans beef bouillon
1/4 c. rice
1/4 c. barley
1 bay leaf
Ground pepper to taste
1 c. diced onion
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. diced carrots
2 c. diced potatoes
1 lg. dice fresh tomato
1 sm. can tomato sauce

Brown ground beef in frying pan. Drain off grease. Combine all ingredients in large soup kettle and add water to within 2 or 3 inches from top. Simmer 2 or more hours. Any veggies may be added.
