PEAR BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. sugar
2 c. peeled and grated pears
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl. Make a well in center of mixture. Combine oil, eggs, sugar, pears and vanilla. Add to dry mixture, stirring just until moistened. Spoon mixture into well greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan or 2 smaller pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until bread tests done. Cook 10 minutes before removing from pans. Yield 2 loaves.
