TEXAS MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. onion, sliced thin and separated
1 green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. uncooked instant rice

Mix well; shape into 1 1/2 or 2 inch meatballs. Cook in a microwave oven 7 minutes on high or in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
