1/2 c. melted shortening
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
Dash of salt

Combine all of the above ingredients, mix well. Preheat waffle iron. Drop cookie dough by teaspoonful on waffle iron. Bake 1 minute. Cool and ice with powdered sugar frosting. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
