VITA-BURGER CHUNKS TERIYAKI
STYLE
 
1 c. Vita-burger chunks
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 c. celery, cut diagonally
1/2 c. green pepper, sliced
2 tbsp. cornstarch

MARINADE:

2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar

Mix and add enough water to make 1 cup.

Soak chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. Cook for 20 minutes in same liquid. Remove chunks from heat and add marinade. Marinade for 30 minutes or more. Drain off marinade; reserve. Saute chunks in 3 tablespoons of oil for 3 minutes. Add cornstarch to marinade and add to the chunks, along with vegetables. Cook only until thick and clear. Serve with cooked rice or noodles and garnish with tomato or green pepper slices. Serves 4 to 6.
