1 c. cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
Dash pepper

Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup of the soup with all other ingredients. Shape into 6 patties, place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Spoon off fat. Mix remainder of soup and 1/3 cup water, pour over meat. Bake 10 minutes longer. Serves 4 to 6.
