EGG CUSTARD PIE 
6 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. scalded milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Nutmeg
2 (9") pie shells, unbaked & chilled

Prepare pie shells. Heat milk in top of double boiler. When scalded, add sugar, eggs and salt that have been mixed together. Stir real good. Add vanilla. Pour into pie shells and sprinkle with nutmeg on top of each pie. Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.
