MICROWAVE BREAD AND BUTTER
PICKLES
 
1 lg. cucumber, sliced (2 c.)
3/4 c. onion, thinly sliced
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. tumeric

Mix together in 2 quart glass bowl. Microwave on high for 7 to 8 minutes or until cukes are tender. Stir twice during cooking. Put in jar when cool and keep refrigerated.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
