SUMI SALAD 
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. almonds, sliced
1/4 c. sesame seeds
8 green onions, finely sliced
1 head Chinese napa cabbage, chopped
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Ramen noodles broken (reserve seasoning packet)
Dressing

Heat oil in skillet and toast almonds and seeds until lightly browned. Combine with onions, cabbage, noodles, and dressing. Cover and chill several hours for flavors to blend.

DRESSING:

1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
6 tbsp. rice vinegar

Combine sugar, pepper, salt, oil, and vinegar. Mix well.
