CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE | |
3 sticks butter 8 oz. cream cheese 3 c. sugar 1/2 c. vegetable oil 6 eggs 3 c. sifted cake flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. lemon extract 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, cheese, sugar and oil with electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour, one cup at a time, beating after each addition. Add salt, lemon extract and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed with electric mixer. Pour batter into a greased and floured angel food pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 80 minutes or cake is tested done. |
