SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
3/4 lb. beef
1/4 lb. veal
1/4 lb. lean pork
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sliced onion (fried)
1 1/2 c. milk
1 or 2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. butter

Grind meat 3 times. Beat milk and egg together and pour over bread crumbs. After well dissolved, mix with the meat and work well together. Add spices and last the fried onions. Form into small balls and brown in butter. Add a little hot water and simmer for 10 minutes.
