CHEESE TOMATO DIP 
1 sm. onion, minced
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. Velveeta cheese
1 lb. can Italian tomatoes

Melt cheese at 60% power for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Add onion and gradually stir in tomatoes, then re-heat for 2 to 3 minutes on 50% power. Makes enough dip for 25 to 30 guests served with other hors d'oeuvres. Serve with crisp crackers, vegetable dippers or chips. (May need to reheat if served over a period of several hours.)
