SOURDOUGH BISCUITS 
1/2 c. starter
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix flour, salt, soda and baking powder. In separate bowl, mix starter, milk and 1 cup flour mixture, cover and let stand at room temperature to rise. Turn onto board with 1 cup flour mixture, sift rest over top, mix and knead. May be rolled and cut into biscuits or rolled into balls and placed into muffin tins. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
