PICKLED SQUASH | |
8 c. sliced squash 3 green peppers, sliced 2 c. vinegar 2 tsp. celery seed 2 c. sliced onions 2 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. mustard seed 2 tsp. turmeric Slice squash, onions and peppers. Sprinkle generously with salt. Let stand for 1 hour or more. Drain and pack in clean sterile jars. Heat and boil other ingredients and pour over squash, onions and peppers. Seal tightly. |
