BEEF AND NOODLE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 (8 oz.) bag fine noodles
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 c. diced celery
1 small onion, diced
1 c. water
4 tbsp. buttered bread crumbs

Cook celery and onion in cup of water until tender. Brown hamburger in skillet. Mix ingredients with noodles and tomato soup. Add some salt. Put in a greased casserole dish. Top with cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Top with bread crumbs the last 10 minutes of baking time. Note: Add noodles dry; do not precook. In memory of Thelma Metze.
