TEA COOKIES FOR DIABETICS 
7/8 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
1 c. nutmeats, chopped
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla and flour and beat. After each addition, gradually add water and nutmeats. Mix well and shape into small balls. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
