RICE DRESSING | |
1/2 lb. sausage 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. diced celery 1 med. onion, diced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 c. cooked rice 1/2 tsp. sage 3 eggs 1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup Saute celery and onion in 1 tablespoon oil until tender. Add sausage and beef, cook until loses redness, stirring until crumbs. Mix with rice; mix well. Beat eggs, add to mixture. Add salt, sage and liquid. Stir well, add more salt if needed. Bake in a baking dish about 30 minutes or until browned at 350 degrees. |
