PERFECT PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2 2/3 c. sugar 2/3 c. butter (softened) 2 c. (1 can) pumpkin 4 eggs 2/3 c. water 3 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. salt (optional) 2/3 c. raisins (optional) 2/3 c. nuts (optional) Cream sugar and butter. Stir in pumpkin, eggs, water, raisins and nuts. Blend in dry ingredients (stir with fork before adding to pumpkin). Bake in 2 loaf pans at 350 for 1 hour. Freezes well. |
