ELSIE'S CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 Duncan Hines Swiss chocolate cake mix 1 sm. pkg. chocolate instant pudding 5 eggs 1 1/4 c. water 1/2 c. oil (Crisco) Mix together and bake in 2 (12"x8") pans. Lightly grease and flour pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. FILLING: 4 oz. softened cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar 2 squares melted chocolate 1 tsp. vanilla Mix filling ingredients together well. ICING: 3 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 c. milk Cook icing ingredients over low heat. After mixture is thick add mixed cream cheese mixture. Frost the cake with icing mixture. Fill and frost sides with cream cheese mixture. |
