STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS 
3 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled
1/3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. chopped chives
1/8 tsp. salt
12 med. size mushroom caps, washed, dried
1/4 c. melted butter

Combine bacon with cheese, chives and salt. Dip mushroom caps in butter and place on broiler pan. Fill each cap with a rounded teaspoon of bacon-cheese mixture. Place tops of mushrooms 4 inches from broiling unit. Broil for 6 to 8 minutes. Yield: 12 mushroom caps.
