CHEESEBURGER MACARONI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded process American cheese
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter, melted

In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain.

In a bowl, combine soups, milk, basil and pepper. Mix well. Stir in beef mixture. Fold in macaroni and cheese. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Top bread crumbs and butter. Sprinkle over the top.

Bake, uncovered, at 375°F for 45 minutes.

Yield: 8 servings.
