BAR - B - QUE SAUCE 
1 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper

Saute the onion in the butter until tender. Combine the other ingredients and add to the onion. Cover and simmer until the mixture becomes thick.
