TERIYAKI ON A STICK 
1/2 c. pancake syrup or sugar (whichever preferred)
2 lbs. flank steak
2 tbsp. salt and pepper mixed
2 c. mushrooms
1 green bell pepper
16 oz. bottle of soy sauce
Add other items like shrimp (shelled and cleaned), tomatoes, and black olives to taste

Cut strips of steak with grain of meat to create long strips. Place in large bowl with syrup, salt and pepper to taste, and soy sauce. Cover and leave in bowl to marinate overnight or for a minimum of two hours in refrigerator or a cool place.

Place marinated strips with other vegetables on skewers. Barbeque to desired doneness.
