HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 med. potatoes, boiled in jackets
2 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
6 slices bacon, fried (reserve 2 tbsp. fat)
1 onion, chopped
Dash of pepper
1 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar

Peel potatoes and cube in baking dish. Fry bacon and drain.

In small saucepan, combine bacon fat, flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, onions, pepper, water, and vinegar. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over potatoes and stir carefully. Top with crumbled bacon. Put in 375 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. May be made ahead and cooked until hot through.
