PINEAPPLE TARTS | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 2 egg yolks 1 c. milk 2 egg whites, beaten 32 graham crackers 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. black walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and milk. Alternate graham crackers,, baking powder, vanilla and nuts. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Fill cups 2/3 full. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Boil together slowly 1 small can pineapple and 1 cup sugar for 10 minutes. Top tarts. |
