RAISIN CREAM PIE | |
1 1/2 c. raisins 1 c. water Simmer 5 minutes. Add: 1 1/2 c. sweet cream 4 beaten egg yolks 1/4-1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour Cook. After cooking, add 1 teaspoon butter. Put into baked pie shell. MERINGUE: 4 egg whites, beaten Add: 8 tbsp. sugar Put on pie and bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Watch so they don't burn. |
