DEEP DISH BISCUIT PIZZA 
1 (10) pkg. buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
6 oz. can tomato paste
2 oz. can undrained mushrooms, stems and pieces
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded Mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with onion; drain. Stir in tomato paste, mushrooms, and spices; simmer. Press biscuits into a 9 inch greased pie pan to form a crust. Spoon mixture into crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Mozzarella or cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 5-6.
