ALL BUTTER POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter, unsalted
1 lb. powdered sugar
6 lg. eggs, room temperature
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
Fresh lemon rind (optional)

Cream butter; add powdered sugar, eggs, salt and vanilla. Cream on medium speed 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour; blend 1 minute on low speed. Pour batter into well greased bundt cake or loaf cake pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Test with toothpick for doneness before removing from oven. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
