2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1 (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk (a must)
1/2 lb. butter (must be real butter)
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together in 6 quart saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to boil. Cook until soft ball stage. Pour into buttered cookie sheet. Cool. Yummy!
