2 lb. ground chuck 1 sm. bag frozen corn 1 pkg. pita bread 12 oz. pkg. shredded cheese 1 tsp. garlic Salt and pepper 1 chopped onion 1 tomato, diced Lettuce, shredded Salsa Brown meat, drain fat, add taco seasoning, corn, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer about 15-20 minutes. Chop onion, tomato, and lettuce. Put in bowls for garnish. Cut pita bread in half fill 1/3 full with meat mixture, sprinkle with cheese, put in microwave or oven to melt cheese, then garnish with onion, tomato, and salsa. |
