NUT GOODIE BARS | |
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 6 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips 1 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. cook vanilla pudding mix 3 c. sifted powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. maple flavor 1 c. salted peanuts Melt chips (both kinds) and peanut butter in a double boiler. Pat 1/2 of mixture in buttered 9"x13" pan and put in refrigerator to harden. Melt butter; add milk and pudding mix and bring to a simmer. Add powdered sugar and maple flavor. Pour this mixture over first chilled layer. Add salted peanuts to the remaining melted chips and spread over second layer. Chill and cut into squares. |
