DEEP DISH CHEDDAR CHICKEN 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 c. milk
4 c. chopped cooked chicken
8 oz. cheddar cheese
10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
8 oz. pkg. quick crescent rolls

Saute onion in 1/4 cup butter. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add chicken, cheese, and broccoli; mix well; spoon into baking dish. Separate rolls into 1 large and 2 small rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.

Cut large rectangle into 4 strips. Place on top of casserole. Cut small rectangle into 8 strips. Lattice pattern. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
