MARTHA WASHINGTON CANDY 
1/2 lb. butter
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 can condensed milk
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 lbs. chopped pecans
1 lb. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 lb. paraffin wax

Cream butter, add sugar. Add milk, beat well. Add vanilla and pecans, mix well. Drop small amount from teaspoon onto tray and cover with wax paper. Place in refrigerator until cool.

Roll into small balls and refrigerate overnight. Put toothpicks into balls. Melt chocolate and wax in double boiler and dip each ball in chocolate. Place on wax paper. remove toothpicks and seal with leftover chocolate.
