OVEN PORK CHOPS 
4 (1 inch) thick pork chops
1 c. bread crumbs
1 med. onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk (or 1 can mushroom soup)
Pepper
Parsley
Thyme

Bro wn inch thick pork chops slowly in frying pan, seasoning them on both sides, then place in baking dish. On each one place a mound of dressing made of the crumbs, onion, celery, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup milk. Pour the remaining milk around the chops. Cover and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45 minutes or until done. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes more until nicely browned.
