OSGOOD PIE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 c. pecans
1 c. cut up dates
1/2 c. white raisins
1 pinch salt
1 pie shell (unbaked)

Cream butter, sugar and beat in yolks. Fold in nuts, dates, raisins, salt. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Put into pie shell. Bake about 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
