MOLASSES CAKE 
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
1 c. dark molasses (green label)
2 c. hot water
1 tbsp. baking soda

Mix flour, sugar, salt, and oil. Set aside. Mix molasses, water and baking soda; save one cup for topping of cake. Now add to first mixture by hand. Will be lumpy. Pour into 9 x 13 pan and pour saved cup on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
