PINK FROSTED COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter

FILLINGS:

2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
1/2 c. flake coconut
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts

Mix the first 3 ingredients until crumbly and press in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Drain cherries and reserve juice. Mix filling up and spread on top of baked crust and bake 20 minutes longer.

ICING:

1 tbsp. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
Enough cherry juice to be of spreading consistency

Spread on top of warm layer and sprinkle with the coconut and nuts.
