EASTER CHEESE PIE | |
2 c. Jiffy baking mix 2/3 c. milk Combine, mix to a soft dough. Roll on a dusted surface, knead about 20 times, split dough in half, roll each half thin (to make a top and bottom crust. Put bottom crust into 9 x 13 baking dish add filling, put top crust over this mixture, brush with egg. Bake about 45 minutes at 375 degrees. FILLING: 2 to 3 lbs. ricotta cheese 4 eggs 1 to 2 lbs. Italian sausage, ground 1/4 c. or more grated cheese 1 tsp. each salt, pepper 1 tsp. parsley Cook sausage and drain off grease add to cheese mixture (all other ingredients). Mix put into dough as above and bake. |
