BUTTER CREAMS 
1 lb. butter, softened
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
Unsweetened chocolate
1/2 bar of paraffin wax

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Roll into balls or shape like eggs for Easter. I sometimes split the mix and add variations like coconut, melted chocolate or peanut butter for different kinds of candies. Chill overnight. Dip into the melted chocolate with paraffin coating. I have been known to decorate the chocolate candies with icing making flower or personalize with names.
