GARLIC-BROILED SHRIMP 
4 lbs. uncooked lg. shrimp, peel, devein - but leave shells on tails
1/2 c. unsalted butter
1/2 c. olive oil
4 green onions, chopped
4 lg. garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. minced parsley (optional)
Grated Parmesan cheese

Place shrimp in large dish and set aside. In 2 quart saucepan heat butter with olive oil. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Position oven rack 4 inches below coils. Preheat broiler. Pour garlic-butter sauce over shrimp, top with large amount of cheese. Broil until shrimp are coral pink and sauce is lightly browned and bubbly, approximately 5 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
