BANANA SPLIT BREAD 
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. candied cherries
2 2/3 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 medium size, mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts

Grease loaf pan; preheat oven to 325 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, and eggs in large bowl with mixer until fluffy. Stir in flour mixture alternately with mashed bananas until well blended. Add chocolate chips, cherries, and walnuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for one hour and 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes on wire rack, then turn out of pan and cool.
