BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar and salt. Add milk gradually. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Let mixture cool. Cream butter, add cold mixture by tablespoon to creamed butter. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla. Keep cake refrigerated after frosting.
